CALL FOR COMPUTING COMMUNITY CONSORTIUM FOR HIGH-IMPACT RESEARCH IT PROPOSALS

ACM would like to inform the computing community about an opportunity to submit proposals for workshop programs that define visions and agendas for exciting frontiers of computing research. The intent is to generate interest from funding agencies, with awards that can range from $10,000 to $200,000. This initiative comes from the Computing Community Consortium, a committee of the Computing Research Association. Proposals are due by email to cccrfp@cra.org October 14, at 5 p.m. Successful submissions will demonstrate the creation and application of information technologies to important challenges from the theoretical to the practical.
